Did you hear Drakeford today arguing against reduced public transport charges?

How green is he really or is there an agenda? (UN 2030)

UBI linked to your social credit score dependent on your green credentials, the government will pay for your green home improvements if you sign your property over to them….?

You will own nothing and be happy….

Hi Nicola, I have heard of this move to bring homes 'up to standard' with regards to the retrofitting of systems but indeed your point about small businesses possibly being required to do the same is an interesting and alarming one! And how would that translate to any old building anywhere - pubs, listed buildings, schools, hospitals? The logical way this goes is that either everyone gets bankrupted trying to 'follow the rules' or we all get herded into purpose-built 'little boxes' (like the song) or high rises where we exist in pods.

Great article and not a surprise for those of us who are awake.

If only the "experts" and (un)think tanks could derive a way of capturing the hot air coming from Westminster, Senedd, Councils, etc, - the energy crisis and heating problems would magically disappear.

As for Drakeford et al, at least with Thunderbirds you could see the strings and knew Gerry and Sylvia Anderson were pulling them.

Time to sharpen the pitchforks I think.

I think it might be an idea to separate the Welsh language from the decarbonising agenda to be honest - the ideas behind both are as far apart as can be.

Linking both, links the "hatred" and mixes very different messages but allowis them to become one when they are indeed completely different.

Problem being that there are seven well-being goals which are part of the Well-being of Future Generations Act all of which must be addressed in any future plans.

The 7 wellbeing goals are:

a prosperous Wales

a resilient Wales

a healthier Wales

a more equal Wales

a Wales of cohesive communities

a Wales of vibrant culture and thriving Welsh language

a globally responsible Wales

Hence the push with the language 🤦🏻‍♀️

You'll have to excuse my ignorance 😂

I'm a fluent north Walian but moved from Wales many years ago, and Dafydd Wigley accepting a Royal Blessing 🙄 taught me all I really needed to know about politics in general.

But Wow! That looks like a very detailed vague manifesto, they must be so very proud of themselves!

I now understand how the most vocal language supporters have been duped into the "stay home, save lives" bullshit, and they are not even labour supporters, so I guess Plaid Cymru have an equal amount of delusional crap to offer.

I'm very much into etymology and Welsh being such an ancient language and me being fluent has been a blessing in understanding various aspects - it's fascinating and I'm a word nerd 😅 but lumping it with other nonsense trivialises it's importance but then, they really don't care do they because they've all got to be "trendy".

If you took the Wales out of each seven well being goals, you could apply to any country couldn't you!

But also "goals" 😅 - always striving and never arriving!
